Rotating Axis Eye, Smoothness at Every Cast
The Power of Metal, The Weight of Lightness
Weightless Tiny Lure, No Splash
Upgraded Self-Engineered Axis Eye Line Guide
Featuring upgraded self-engineered Axis Eye line guides, this reel reduces friction by 8% compared to the previous generation thanks to low-friction, high-thermal-conductivity materials and precision polishing. The smoother design enhances casting smoothness and minimizes line wear, allowing lighter lures to cast farther while protecting the line and extending its lifespan.
All-Magnesium Body with Mg-Shielded TM Protection
Built with a full magnesium alloy body and weighing only 4.6 oz, this reel delivers ultra-light performance that is 30% lighter than aluminum alloy, without compromising strength. Its Mg-Shielded TM coating enhances resistance to corrosion, scratches, and everyday impacts, ensuring long-lasting durability and a clean finish over time. Compared to carbon fiber, the structure is 55% more rigid, offering greater stability under load while remaining effortless to handle. The result is reduced fatigue during long sessions and reliable performance in harsh conditions, combining lightweight comfort with reinforced toughness in one design.
New-Gen Feather Spool III, Designed for Finesse Fishing
The Feather Spool III features an ultra-thin 0.2 mm wall thickness—making it the thinnest and lightest spool in the world—paired with a titanium alloy main shaft, bringing the total weight down to just 3.8 g/0.13 oz. Despite its ultra-lightweight construction, the spool maintains excellent line capacity through its optimized 28 mm outer diameter design, while delivering lower rotational inertia and faster startup performance. Its featherlight, ultra-rigid construction minimizes starting resistance, allowing anglers to easily cast lures as light as almost 1/64 oz / 0.5g. The spool delivers precise, low-trajectory casts and gentle landings, giving full control over the lure’s flight path. This enables effortless precision and extended casting distance with light baits, making it perfectly suited for finesse fishing.
Customized 9+2+1 MaxiDur Ball Bearing System
For the Kestrel Ultimate, KastKing developed Ultra Slide TM bearings specifically for the spool ends, while the rest of the reel uses MaxiDur double-shielded ball bearings. This high-precision 9+2+1 bearing system minimizes rotational resistance and
