Its octagonal shelter measures approximately Ø320 × H160 cm (Ø10.5 × H5.25 ft), leaving room for sleeping gear, packs, and seated camp use, while the complete kit weighs only about 1.8 kg (4.0 lb). Packed down, it measures approximately L37 × Ø13 cm (L14.6 × Ø5.1 in) for easier backpack or vehicle storage. An integrated stove jack with a fire-resistant reinforcement patch accommodates a compatible wood stove, adding a useful source of heat and cooking capability when temperatures drop. The 210T ripstop polyester shell with a PU3000 mm waterproof coating helps handle rain and changing outdoor conditions when the shelter is properly pitched and tensioned.
